Burnsville/Farmington/Lakeville finished the job in Bloomington. Three times the state runner up in the CI Division — including last season — the Blazing Cats climbed the final rung of the ladder for the first time Saturday via a 15-6 victory over New Prague/TCU/LSH/Belle Plaine/Jordan to win a state floor hockey crown and avenge last year's title game defeat to the same opponent. In the process, the Blazing Cats (10-1) also avenged their only loss of the season. They fell 8-2 to the Trojans (9-1) in early February.
